From Denver, drive on I-70 west. Drive approximately 110 miles to Exit 167, Avon. Exit and drive through Avon's roundabouts (traffic circles) until you are the Beaver Creek Resort welcome gate (you will drive through the center of the Town of Avon in a southerly direction). The welcome gate in Beaver Creek is open 24 hours a day and the staff will direct you to the Bachelor Gulch welcome gate. An alternate entrance to Bachelor Gulch is from Highway 6 just west of the Beaver Creek entrance, turn left at the traffic light onto Prater Road. Drive a short distance up the hill to a roundabout and bear right. In less than a mile you will see the Bachelor Gulch gate.
From EGE - Eagle Vail Airport, exit the airport and turn left onto Cooley Mesa Road. Turn LEFT onto US-6 and after 3 miles turn right after the stoplights onto I-70 E toward DENVER. Drive 23 miles east on I-70. Exit 163 Edwards from I-70 and Turn right onto Edwards Access Road. At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn left onto US Highway . Drive 3 miles EAST on Hwy 6, then turn right at the 2nd traffic light, onto Prater Road. At the roundabout up Prater Lane, bear RIGHT onto Bachelor Gulch Trail. Stop at the gate for access.
